It took me three years to feel comfortable enough to share what I have been learning as I follow my passion to work in food and agriculture. But on Medium, I’ve been met with threats of violence by activists. And most recently, I get emails from people on how I’m doing things wrong.

Last December, I started syndicating several of my articles on animal agriculture, raising meat and butchering on Medium. While there a little bit of positive reception, there were very few comments. The ones that were made held a common theme, “this why I am vegetarian/vegan.”
